I just bought and installed Factions and joined it with Prophecies.

Rolled a character in Factions and upgraded the storage for craft materials. I moved all my craft materials into it. Logged out and loaded a Prophecies character. Went to my storage and no upgrade! hmmm. Is the storage upgrade avaible in Prophecies?

If you take your Propheceis characters across to Cantha you can get the upgrade to work with them on both continents.

You have to buy the storage upgrade on each character. Once you pay the 50g for that upgrade on your Tyrian character, you'll have access to it.

It's kind of like getting straight out of pre-searing, where you have to buy access to your storage account. Same concept - each character must pay for access in order to use it.

But the Tyrian character cannot purchase the upgrade until they reach Cantha.

Its not a problem. Just do some character switch juggling if you need to access the material storage for the Tyrian characters that dont have access yet.

Or to avoid all travel to Cantha, make a mule character

Travelling to Cantha REALLY isn't difficult. You take ONE simple quest from Firstwatch Sergio in Lion's Arch, and viola! - you're in Kaineng Center, where you can purchase your storage upgrade!

Much simpler than a mule character, or juggling stuff around every time you need to move an item to another character.

Now, if only they'd make it easier to transfer items between two accounts..
